Golfers raised a record amount of money at Good Spirit Lake Golf Resort in June during the 10th Annual Classic. The tremendous success of the event allows The Health Foundation to purchase equipment for every healthcare facility in the region.

Early bird lottery draw

The annual $100,000 Cash Lottery announced the early bird draw winners in June. The lottery, now in its fourth year, is sold out with ticket sales ending June 20.

Campaign targets $450,000
for Heart & Stroke program

The Health Foundation has announced that the major fund raising campaign for 2009 will support the Provincial Stroke Prevention and Recovery Pilot Project that will take place in Sunrise Health Region over the next two years. The Health Foundation is aiming to raise $450,000 for equipment purchases that will be required for this project.

Radiothon raises $52,000
to support new campaign

The first major activity to raise funds for Stroke Prevention and Recovery was the 36-hour Airwaves for Health Radiothon, once again sponsored and hosted by GX94 and FOX FM Radio.

The Health Foundation of East Central Saskatchewan, Inc. is a volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds for priority medical equipment and to providing education in the fields of health and wellness.

Our mission is to receive, manage and disburse funds for capital and educational purposes in a way that recognizes donors, to enhance the programs and services of the Sunrise Health Region.

The Foundation is guided by a volunteer board, and operates independently from both the health region and government. It receives no money other than your much-appreciated donations.
